Ycon was founded in Sassuolo, Italy's ceramic capital, by a team of architects who were frustrated with the gap between what they designed and what the tile industry offered. The name itself — a contraction of 'icon' — reflects the brand's ambition. Every Ycon panel is engineered for structural integrity, dimensional precision, and visual impact at architectural scale. Slabs up to 320 cm eliminate grout lines and create seamless surfaces that read as monolithic planes. Through-body pigmentation means exposed edges, mitre joints, and cut details display the same colour as the face — critical for the kind of architectural detailing that separates specification-grade material from commodity tile.
