The Gold Standard of Italian Marble

Calacatta marble is quarried exclusively from the Apuan Alps in Carrara, Italy, and is prized for its striking bold veining set against a luminous white background. Unlike its more common cousin Carrara, Calacatta features thicker, more dramatic veins in warm gold, grey, and sometimes taupe tones.
